I grew up surrounded by fabrics, threads, thimbles and needles. My mother, like many girls in their teens, went to learn how to sew and althought she had other job, sewing helped her to improve the family budget.
Because it was a need, my mother dedicated herself to make original clothes (and cheaper) - I remember well the shirts and sweatshirts, with unique design, that my brothers proudly wore in the high school! :)
Im my childhood i saw in the remains of fabrics a major advantage: the leftovers with wich she would prepare e new collection autumm/winter or spring/summer for my dolls.
Later, almost a tennager, i was the designer of my own clothes (that my mother patiently executed), althought i insisted - and believe me, i knew how to insist - that i would never do anything related to needles and fabrics in my life. I know... never say never!
After a few artistic labyrinths, i came to this imaginary place where i fell a sleep planting some colorfull flowers and woke up surrounded by fabric dolls, for children and adults, with whom i try to give sense to the world "Cordemar".
Hope you enjoy it!
